Here is the opening paragraph of something I wrote for the Annual Report:

“Everyone, everywhere is a worshiper.  We all worship something or someone. Your life is a reflection of that which you worship.  You prioritize, make choices, develop attitudes, rejoice, weep, and live all based on that which you worship.  Our prayer is that our lives would reflect our desire to worship Jesus in all that we do.  That our lives, and the life of our church, would be a reflection of our life of worship of Jesus.  So, while this report is mainly about our Sunday morning worship, our worship of Jesus can be found in all things here at JBC. It is found in those who come early to shovel snow.  It is found in the volunteers who serve in Junior Church, in Jacobstown Children’s ministries, in AWANA, in Youth Group, in EDT, in ushering, in Sound Ministry, in Audio Visual ministry, in cleaning, in every aspect of JBC life.”

Who are you worshiping today?  Who are what is your life reflecting today?  Are you worshiping success, the approval of others, comfort, money?  Or is your life a reflection of your daily, moment by moment, worship of Jesus?  Something to reflect on today.
