The Principles of Faith Promise Giving

Faith Promise Giving (FPG) is a personal and prayerful commitment you make to God to give a certain amount of money over the next twelve months for the purpose of global outreach and evangelism. This purposeful commitment to God would be above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings. This commitment is based on the obedience to remain faithful and give the faith promise He has asked of you, trust in Him to supply the amount He has asked you to give, and a love for the Lord and desire to be used in his work.

The Faith Promise Giving for Missions

Is scriptural - 2 Corinthians 8:10
Shows my love and sincerity - 2 Corinthians 8:8
Is good for me and my church - 2 Corinthians 8:10; Philippians 4:15-19
Glorifies God - 2 Corinthians 9:13
Pleases God - Hebrews 11:6
Help send missionaries - Romans 10:15
Helps fulfill the Great Commission - Matthew 28:19-20
Allows the lost to hear the gospel - 2 Corinthians 10:15-16
Puts faith into practice - 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 1:17
Brings blessings to me - Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6
Makes me a channel of God’s blessings - 2 Corinthians 9:8-11
