Children’s Ministries

All of our Children’s Ministries are developed on the foundation of the Bible. Our teachers work hard to make sure that what they are teaching and modeling the Word of God to your children. We believe that we are a complement to what is already being taught in the home. It is our desire to give support to every parent as they seek to provide a godly home life. If we can ever be of more assistance, please ask.

We count it a privilege to be able to be used by God in any small way in the life of your child.

Nursery

Ages 0-24 months
All babies 0-24 months are welcome here. Nursery is a loving, safe environment where each nursery worker has a desire to demonstrate the love of God as they care for your child.

Sunday School

Ages 2-9
Each week your child will worship God through song and hear a well prepared Bible lesson accompanied by a craft that will also cement the truth of the lesson in their lives. This time helps instill a love for Jesus and His word in your child.

Jr. Church

Ages 10-15
In our older grades, our young people are engaged in discussion based classes and challenged with strong biblical teaching that teaches them about our great God. These truths are then translated into everyday strength to make a stand for Christ

Ignite - JBC Youth Group

JBC Youth Group is designed for tweens and teens to enjoy Christian fellowship. Kids will engage in games, prayer, and age appropriate Bible study, while learning about what it means to be the church.

Clubber Questions
My clubber did not finish their book last year, can they do so this year?
  • If your child is in Sparks, they continue in the book they are in until they complete it and then get the next book in the series. Other clubber may finish up any incomplete book along with the current book that their club is doing. Please let the leader know what your clubbers intentions are at the beginning of the year.
We missed a week, can more than one memory verse be recited per week?
  • Yes, your clubber may make up any memory versed that they have missed. They are encouraged to stay with the group in their book.
What are the points that clubbers earn?
  • Clubbers earn points for every section of their book that they complete. This includes their weekly Memory Verse. They also earn points every week for wearing their uniform, bringing their handbook, bringing their bible, going to church, wearing sneakers and for participating in whatever special night it may be. Clubbers also get bonus points for bringing a friend to AWANA. We keep a spreadsheet of the points, and the kids get to spend them at Store Night.
